"Brethren,
I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do:
forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on
toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." "Do

knows that you need these things. But seek His kingdom, and these things will

then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught,

greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself shall be
humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted." "You
shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife
or his male servant or his female servant or his ox or his donkey or anything
that belongs to your neighbor." "Whatever
your hand finds to do, do it with all your might." "We
must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming
when no one can work." "This
man had been instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he
was speaking and teaching accurately the things concerning Jesus, being
acquainted only with the baptism of John." "Do
you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the
prize? Run in such a way that you may win." "Again,
the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the
world and their glory; and he said to Him, 'All these things I will give You,
if You fall down and worship me.' Then Jesus said to him, 'Go, Satan! For it is
written, "You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him

desire the greater gifts. And I show you a still more excellent way." "How
can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and you do not seek
